Pahis? Yeah I know the guy. don't listen to a word that guy says. He's gone rogue. I had to ask him to hand in his badge. "I'M A COP" he insisted. I knew it was true. But he'd gone too far. In league with Tyreal Magnus the whole time? I couldn't believe it. We all knew Magnus killed that Cerb. But Pahis was involved? It couldn't be true. I'll have to get in touch with doanshoot, see if he knows. But what if this runs deeper than I thought............. |

Star system Jita, sitting outside the market. Just traded in a PLEX. Got some new boots with my arurum. Talked to the salesman, he said he'd heard rumors about this Pahis guy. Showed him my badge. He got real quiet after that... I knew something was up. That's when I heard it - the sound of someone fitting autocannons on their spacevessel. I'd have to get outta there fast, they were planning to camp me in! I jumped into my pod and headed straight for the Italia Sector. Saw the sender's address on a courier's contract sent for the guy who sold me the boots. He kept eyeing the contract when I was asking about Pahis. It's a long shot but it's the only lead I've got. I'll keep you updated. |

Well well well if it wasn't Alberto Bertorelli, my old partner. Ran into him just as I was entering the Italia Sector. I should have known he'd retire out here. He said he was scanning down a Frako that had come in just ahead of me. I wasn't sure what he was talking about. Frako? Was that the name of the new Tier 3 Battlecruiser class star vessel? I couldn't be certain. I decided to play it safe and not ask. What I did ask, though, was about Pahis. "Pahis? Yeah I remember the guy. Strange character, had an uneasy air about him." "That's the one, Bertorelli", I said to him. "So he's finally gone rogue, has he?" "He has." "Always knew he was a bad apple."
HOW DID HE KNOW???
He read the question on my face - it was obvious. "I just dealt with him. Gave him the ol' DILZ."

Raptor on scan when I jumped through the gate. He cloaked up as soon as he saw me in local. There were tons of people in local - I couldn't be sure who it was I was looking for. Alberto and Sverige were two of them. That couldn't be - I'd passed Alberto coming in. There must be a jump bridge in this system, there's no way he could have beaten me here. There was wreckage on the other side of the gate - I could only assume it was Pahis' starship after getting bombarded with the DILZ. I tried to salvage it only to then realize that I was still in my pod, having left my ship when I fled Jita. But if this was Pahis' wreck, he'd be in a pod too. But who was this cloaky Raptor....... |

A problem with doanshoot? It couldn't be. I'd finally figured it out. It wasn't Sverige or Alberto going rogue - it was doanshoot himself. |

It all started to make sense now. Homeland Defense? There was nothing about defending the homeland at all! Deklein had been left defenseless all this time - the whole organization was a ruse! They're funneling isk into Lonetrek, I MUST KNOW what they're planning there I MOSTE. And that hired thug in Jita? It was Wells! The Raptor pilot? BBJ himself!
But it's this Spag character that worries me. He'd come a long way from home to get to the Italia Sector. The faction police got to him before I could... no way to be sure whose side they're on. Let's hope for now that he doesn't play ball with them... I might be able to bring him onto our side after all... |

I tried to get in touch with this Major Spag, but it seems I was too late. I didn't get my note translated, but when I inquired about Spag's whereabouts, I was given a package along with a note. I didn't read the note because really who reads the note first when they get a present not me that's who. I opened the box... what the heck was it? Full of Gallente Ice? What good would that do me? It was only then that I realized that Gallente Ice was among the most valuable commodities in the galaxy, mined only by those who want to max out their isk per hour. There was a phone number written on the inside of the box as well. I called it up. Spag had sent me his stockpile of ice and the phone line to the most exquisite redhead-only exotic dancer escort service. This man knew who he was dealing with. He has my attention, but I still don't know who he's working for. |

It was in my Captain's Quarters, star station Torrinos. I got outta my pod, and there it was. There's one thing I gotta know, Spag. Who is it you're working for? I know it's not the Gallente or Doanshoot, I know it's not. And I hope it's not this "Kazzzi" clown. He got in way over his head when he tried to get involved. That's his Atron wreck outside of the station. Podded him too. But there are more players in this, I am certain! |

I thanked Major Spag for his help, and climbed into the cockpit of my Stabber cruiser-class projectile turret specialized starship. I had to get out of Lonetrek, I knew that much. The Major Spag guy, this "freelancer" "lone-ranger" "maverick" "independent contractor" capsuleer... I wasn't sure if I could trust him. Gallenteans? Honorable? He didn't even put the extraneous U in "hono(u)rable".
I hadn't heard any news from Alberto in quite some time. Had Travis "Travis Wells" Wells gotten to him already? I could only assume the worst. Let's hope Pahis has made it out of Lonetrek alive. But before I left I decided to give a call to an old friend, Kareem Pi. |
